Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information IRC Contracts ("we", "us") collects when you visit irccontracts.com, subscribe to IRC Contracts, use the IRC Contracts app, or contact us, and how we use and protect it. If you have questions, email support@irccontracts.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Subscription and billing details. When you start a trial or subscribe, you give us your name, email address, billing address and, if you choose, your business name. Your card or other payment details are entered on a checkout page run by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Account details. When accounts are available, we keep your email address, name, plan, and the users on your team plan.
  • Messages. When you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write.

Information collected automatically

  • Website logs. Our website host, Vercel, records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used to run and secure the site.
  • Fonts. The website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
  • Browser storage. The website uses your browser's session storage to remember choices while you are on the site, such as whether you are signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.

Your documents

Contracts and other documents you create in the IRC Contracts Mac app are saved on your Mac. The app does not upload your documents to us. If we add online storage or a web version in the future, we will update this policy to describe how those documents are stored and protected before that feature is available to you.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the service, including starting your trial, managing your subscription and giving you access to the app.
  • To bill you, send receipts, and handle renewals, plan changes, cancellations and refunds.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To send you important notices about your account, your subscription, or changes to our terms or this policy.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run IRC Contracts, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • Stripe processes payments, subscriptions and the billing portal. Stripe's handling of your information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel hosts our website.
  • Cloudflare provides our domain and routes email sent to our addresses.
  • Google provides the website's fonts and our email inbox.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

4. How long we keep information

We keep your subscription and billing records for as long as your account is active and afterward as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. We keep support messages as long as needed to help you and keep a record of our conversations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

5. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we shared it with.
  • Get a copy of your personal information.
  • Ask us to correct personal information that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as records we must keep for taxes.
  • Not be treated differently for using any of these rights.

To use any of these rights, email support@irccontracts.com from the email address on your account. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond. You can also have an authorized agent contact us for you.

6. Security

We use service providers with strong security practices, and payment details are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the highest level of the payment card industry standard. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

IRC Contracts is a business tool for real estate professionals. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also email subscribers before it takes effect.
